I’ve been a military spouse for almost 15 years. And in that time, I’ve seen a lot of evolution in what it means to be a military spouse, what opportunities are available for military spouses, and how military spouses are viewed. In some ways, the change has been really good. And in some ways, the change is not all for the better.
But my experience as a military spouse is just a drop in the bucket compared to the history of what it means to be a military spouse in the last 100 years.
Today’s conversation is definitely one you don’t want to miss! I sit down with Corie Weathers to discuss her new book, Military Culture Shift: The Impact of War, Money, and Generational Perspective on Morale, Retention and Leadership.
We discuss how military culture has shifted over the decades, what that means for military spouses, and what you and I can do to continue to shift the culture in a positive direction for the future.
Better Together,
Christine
